Welcome to Lenihan Fics

lenihan: Gaelic word meaning either 'hidden' or 'sorrowful'. Origin whether it's Irish Gaelic or Scottish Gaelic is unknown. The author has chosen for the meaning 'hidden' in this situation.

Just as the word says, 'lenihan' means 'hidden', and that is exactly what this journal will be. It is put to friends only and you don't need to bother contacting me to be put on that list. The reason for this is that this journal will contain chapters, character files and other background information I came up with for my story 'Loaghaire', which I do intend to publish once it's finished. Even after five years of working on it, it's still in its early stages, but I hope to have more time to work on the story now that most of the background information is known to me.

Since I plan to publish this story (or at least try to get it published), the last thing I want is someone running off with my ideas and publish it. Whatever happens after my debute, well... we'll see about that when it happens. So trying to get on my f-list here will be very, very difficult. Again, asking to be put on the list will get you nowhere. But a good place to start might be my own journal, lenihanfighter, and make sure I get to know you.

So once you've managed to get yourself on this f-list, I do expect certain courtesy from your side. After all, I will be putting up all information I use for the story, such as character information, or background information like how the place looks like, how I want to see the magic used. And of course, there will be the chapters. I assume that everyone on my f-list here will have the courtesy to read it, maybe even discuss it, you are entirely free to point out inconsistencies and vague explanations, but don't use this for anything on your own without my explicit permission. If you can't obey to that one rule, you are off this list.
